Morning show host and well-loved entertainer and TV personality Kerri-Anne is well known for her warm and sunny personality as well as her penchant for fine French bubbles, so no wonder it was such a lovely experience to share just a few of the stories from my new book “Champagnes – Behind The Bubbles” on air with Kerri-Anne viewers this morning.
Together we looked at Australia’s best value premier cru blanc de blancs (100% chardonnay) grower champagne ($40 per bottle for a dozen) then a delicious grand cru pinot noir rose champagne from a village called “Bouzy” ($80). To finish we compared the world’s oldest ($250) Vs the world’s youngest prestige cuvee champagne ($550)… what fabulous fun! And we talked about glassware and Marie Antoinette’s breasts too!
SO if like me you really love champagne, then be sure to check out the 2nd annual Global Champagne Day happening around the world on Friday 28th October 2011. For more information on Global Champagne Day 2011 click HERE
