Housed in Boston’s former Federal Reserve Bank building (a national architectural landmark) the final stages of luxury hotel The Langham’s $6 million plus renovations include a suitably named European-style champagne lounge in the heart of the hotel’s grand lobby: The Reserve.
Set to open on October 1st (Labor Day Weekend) as Langham Boston’s executive chef Mark Sapienza explains “The Reserve has been designed to create a haven for our guests to sip, savor, and socialize, and we developed the menu with that in mind (highlights include Maine Lobster salad sliders!). The light cuisine is the perfect complement to our libations and to the comfortable, relaxing setting of the lounge. In addition to the menu, we are also excited to launch a traditional Tiffin afternoon tea and look forward to introducing timeless British fare and exotic tea blends to the city.” A signature of Langham Hotels, The Reserve will serve Tiffin afternoon tea, Boston’s first traditional English tea service in partnership with the esteemed Wedgwood collection.
