Jayne’s Story

Jayne Powell was 15 when she first visited France. She instantly loved champagne because it was blond and bubbly, and the sound of a cork popping followed by foaming bubbles exploding in her glass enchanted her. Her lifelong passion for the world’s finest fizz has placed her at the forefront of a global movement to make this timeless icon of luxury accessible to all. By removing any of the pretentiousness traditionally associated with champagne appreciation, Jayne appeals to those seeking an up close and personal fabulous fun experience with the world’s most enigmatic fine wines.

Jayne has studied at the Institut International des Vins de Champagne in France and holds the globally recognised WSET Advanced Certificate in wines and spirits. Fluent in French, Jayne gained a BA Honours degree with Distinction in French language, and Postgraduate Diplomas in marketing, business and law.

Since launching her own Sydney based global events consultancy in 2003, and using champagne as her tool of engagement, Jayne has helped B2B and B2C clients around the world to drive their own businesses and strengthen their key relationships. Through live events and social media platforms, Jayne has become one of Australia’s leading international authorities on champagne, published in both national and international magazines and regularly interviewed on national TV and radio.

Jayne’s audiences range from business moguls to TV stars, politicians and Hollywood celebrities. She has won numerous awards for her ability to engage a crowd and her mission is to help everyone “drink better bubbly”.
